1. I have fully/ partially completed a tertiary qualification. How do I apply for advanced standing entry and exemptions?
To be considered for advanced standing or exemption, you are required to lodge certified copies of the transcripts and award certificate (if the course is completed) for previous studies. These documents will be assessed to determine whether advanced standing will be granted. Depending upon the institution where you completed your previous studies, you may be required to provide the course syllabus and unit outlines. Exemptions are given based on previous studies and are related to the major chosen. Units passed in previous studies that do not equate to a unit offered at our Colleges will not be exempted. No advanced standing will be granted if the units undertaken in previous studies are not units relevant to the course nominated. Top
2. My IELTS/TOEFL score is not high enough to meet entry requirements into the course offered at Legenda Education Group. What can I do?
You can op to sit for our English Placement Test at our college itself or at one of our authorised agents located adjacent to you in your country. Upon our assessment of this test, we will advise you whether you meet our English Language requirements. If not, you will need to complete 2-3 months of our Intensive English Language Programme, and then proceed to enroll for the pre-university or undergraduate programme. Top
3. Who can certify my documents?
Officers from the Legenda Education Group or our authorised international agents can certify your documents. Top
4. I have been given an offer for this coming semester, but I cannot make it. Can I defer the offer to another semester?
It is possible to defer your intake but you must inform us at the International Office on your decision as we will have to apply for extension from the Malaysian Immigration for your calling visa. Top
5. I cannot arrive in time for the first day of semester. Can I start the semester one or two weeks late?
Although not recommended (as you will miss orientation and also some classes), it is possible especially if circumstances do not allow you to start your course on time. You must also inform us at the International Office in this case. Top
6. If I want to change my course after I receive my Letter of Offer, what should I do?
You can inform us at the International Office through email. We will then issue a revised Letter of Offer to you. Top
